What was your favourite Year (or Grade for the people from Canada and USA) in school, and why?
What was your least favourite, also?
I gotta say Year 6 was my favorite.
It was my last year in Primary School (Sept 2003 - July 2004), and me and my friends had a bunch of laughs in and out of school, going to swimming at another school, getting in trouble preparing for the SAT's, etc. etc.
I'd say Year 8 (Sept 2005 - July 2006) was my best year in secondary school. I had awesome friends, I loved doing all my lessons with my form, and I had two of my favourite teachers ever - Mrs. Mayne for Religious Studies and Miss. Crowley for Art class. ^^ If only I could've had those teachers again. Shame. Year 7, which was the year beforehand, was quite alright too, actually.
My least favourite was Year 9. My life turned shitty then with a massive bullying problem and depression, and my classes and teachers weren't as good as before, as well as a weird uniform change. Year 10 was better, but not by much. I'm in Year 11 now, and it's been alright, just dramatic and boring, though. Also, I have so much pressure this year to do well in my GCSE's.
I'm hoping Sixth Form (Year 12 and 13) will be a good new start for me, although it'll be at my same school, but still, I'm glad all the chavs are leaving, I no longer have to wear some crappy, itchy uniform, and I'll be taking A-Levels which are going to be hard. I'm hoping I'll make new friends, and enchance my social life a bit more. I'm also hoping Mrs. Mayne is taking us for R.S. again. (lol)
I also hope that when I start University (or wherever I go after I finish school properly, be it some special college or whatever) I will get even a more fresh start. New course, new environment and completely new people. ;D

I'd vote for uk year 6 too. Loved being at the top of the primary school and feeling sort of superior for being in the top year. Year 7, going back to being the lowest of the low, was a bit of a downer after that.

Yeah, although I'm in Year 11 now, I remember that "youngest" feeling in Year 7 as if it was yesterday. I didn't mind it, though. It was just a bit scary in the first months.
Although, excluding Sixth Form students, in Year 11 you're once again the oldest, and have that feeling of towering over everybody else. :D lol.
But Year 11 was no way as good as Year 6. At least for me.

I loved grade 12 (senior year) the most for a few reasons. First, the courses were generally more interesting. Second, English, which I tend to do decent in, the teacher was retiring that year so she didn't care what happened or what we did. Even if we were late, she'd give tiny penalties and amazing marks. Third, it was the chance for me to get even closer to my dreams and finally leave high school.
My least favourite year is probably grade 6. That was the year where I got slapped on more with a conduct disorder and just began to have even more bullying for some reason. Due to more bullying, I systematically fought back even more and that sometimes landed me in a nice amount of trouble. I also had my grandmother being even nastier and started to cane me more and insult me even more.

My favourite was UK year 9-10. Then, I had a decent group of friends who I could always count on. Spent those couple of years doing sod all and generally having no responsabilites and living life. Now I've entered adulthood I realise the real world isn't like that lol. Ah well, those couple of years were still nice :)

Mine was US: 9th grade
UK: Year 10.
I absolutely LOVED my English teacher, and our art class was soooo awesome, even though our awesome art teacher died of cancer. ):

I'd say my high school years are the best. Lots of hard work that flies by thanks to fun friends.

Year 6 was my favourite too. :D
Mainly because I was in the same class as my friends that year. :)

My favorite year was probably Year 9. It was my last year living with my mother, last year at that school. I had a lot of great friends that year and a lot of fun.
My least favorite..... Grade 9/year 10. First year of school here, well more like first few months. Got pulled out of school pretty quickly, and thank God too. Starting private school in August, 12th grade. Hopefully that will be better than my experiences at public schools here.

My favorite year has been this past year, for sure. My first year out of high school, and it's been amazing. I wish I could have done this sooner, because high school definitely didn't qualify as the "best years of my life" or whatever. College has been great to me. I feel challenged, my classes are interesting to me (most days), and the whole atmosphere is just different there. It's refreshing, and I actually like going to class in the morning. :) I still don't like getting up in the morning though, mind you. xP I wonder how much things may change in the fall when I'll start running into some of the kids from my high school, the ones who didn't head straight to a 4-year, but I doubt I'll have many classes with any of them.
My least favorite... possibly my sophomore year of high school. I'd been diagnosed as bipolar the year before and hadn't had a lot of time to work on getting stable, one of my best friends in the history of friendships had just moved across the country, and my personality was changing due to the whole deal with mood stabilizers and therapy. I was reverting back to who I am, not what my disorder made me. That was a problem with my friends because the changes were coming in spurts and they didn't know how to deal with it. Also, those kinds of things tend to get worse before getting better, and very few of my friends wanted to deal with that either. I felt a lack of support, and being around a few thousand teenagers all day was really overstimulating. I had a few panic attacks, and during the two-ish months before I transferred out for homeschooling/independent study I'd had enough absences that the principal wanted to give me Saturday school. Every single one of those absences were due to mood swings and panic moments so severe that I literally could not leave the house. School just exacerbated the problem, and I would not return to that year for anything.

Least favorite was Grade 7. I was bullied a lot that year.
Favorite so far has been: Grades 9 and 10. High school has been great.
I hated Middle School. No one liked each other. and I was an outcast. There were fights everyday.
