Period?

Ok, so I had some brownish discharge from my vagina for about 1 1/2 to 3 days. I don't really think that it was my period. I heard a period hurts, but I felt completely fine, NO PAIN, BLOATING ANYTHING. It stoped then. Anouther month has come and gone and nothing has happened scence then. My mother said she has the worst cramps ever and that when I get my period I most likly will too (a family trait). I really don't know, but I have some medical conditions that would lead you to believe that my period would be much different. I was just wondering if this sounded like a period to you or not. It was almost definitely your period. Congrats!

My first year of periods didn't hurt at all. But now I do get cramps quite often. My friends are the same. I think that I heard cramps don't really get noticeable until after the first year anyway, a bit like they don't tend to regulate until then.

You may also be lucky enough to not inherite that family trait. So, start looking at sanitary towels (or even tampons if you want) and get ready for your next one :)

Yep, I'm like 99% sure you just got your first period :)
Lucky for you, you don't get cramps (neither do I), and hopefully you will stay that way.. from what I've heard they're not the most fun in the world..
So yeh, I'd probably just stick to sanitary towels at first, and like Laura said, go buy some and carry a couple with you when you're at school, out at the mall, wherever so that you're ready for when you're next one starts (they can be kinda unpredictable at first)
