I'm 16 and although a lot of my friends go to the gym, when they invite me to go I don't want to. The problem is that I really hate to exercise. I don't know why, but I do, I think I'm tooooooooooooooo lazy. The funny thing is that I'm very thin, but I would like to exercise more in order to have a better health and develop muscles.
Can you give me some advises to do exercise????????
Thanks!

You don't necessarily have to go to the gym to exercise. Find something fun that makes you happy. There are thousands of sports, and hundreds of other physically active things to do.
Here's a list of individual sports/other physical activities if you don't like sports or the gym.
playing at a playground
raking leaves
jumping rope
dancing around your bedroom
walking your dog
cleaning your room
watering the garden
washing the car
making a snowperson
swimming
diving
running
ice skating
wrestling
gymnastics
golf
tennis
skateboarding
in-line skating
biking
martial arts
bowling

Just do more by pushing yourself, to be honest. A lazy person's worst enemy is themselves.
Think of this when you're next invited to the gym. There really is no other cure, or easy way around it.
But you know, other things can be classed as exersize too. Try walking home from school, or riding your bike more.

Try to make it fun, or set a goal for yourself, something to push you foward, run a marathon for charity! lol That's all I can think of 'cause honestly, I'm lazy too! :P

I would just say, give yourself some form of modavation. Also if that doesn't work then do some form of work like wash the cars by hand, play sports, or just like go dancing. That's a real good form of excercise.

Gyms are stupid. I hate them too.
Just take up a sport. Anything you like particularly? Do you like hitting people in the face or throwing them around a room? Running after balls? Nature?

It's normal. I hate exercise as well. However, I notice that I exercise without even realizing it. Take walks with your friends and such. They'll pay off.
Of course, if you don't want to do that, well go buy a DanceDance Revolution game. Seriously, it's hard at first, but once you get the hang of it it's fun. Trust me, I'm a total klutz and I got the hang of it (though I've lost my touch since we moved and the only spots where I can play it are on hardwood floors-ouch). It gets even more fun when you get your friends together. So if you don't want to go out and get some traditional exercise, this is a fun way to get your exercise.
But of course you should balance it out with traditional exercise as well, even if it just means taking a walk.

You know, I used to hate working out and excersising but now that I am in gym, I simply love it. I am not the "jock" type at all. But I have taken on a new found...passion for working out and playing/engaging in sports. The downside is that this only exists in the actual class. After I leave the class, I am my lazy old self again.
I encourage you to take elective gym classes. It is fun...well for most, and basically forces you to be active which you may or may not like, but you will learn techniques for remaining healthy and you may go to the weight room to gain the muscles you want.
