Sex when girl has mono

My GF has mono and she really wants to have sex. I told her no because I don't want to get mono. Her friends have told me that she wants sex. Should I or not?

But I highly doubt that. So really think carefully; do you want mono right now? (Probable short term)
Do you want to have a child right now? (Possible short and long term)
Do you want a life long STD? (Possible short and long term)

How will mono affect school? I've heard of people not being able to graduate normally, and having to go to summer school/graduate during the summer because they were sick (with mono).
Really think. Do you want to take so much risk for some pleasure lasting less than an hour?

ok i guess got out of mono the only way they told me its transferable is by saliva as long as you don't get to far into it and kiss you shouldnt get it but its up to u dood

Not always. Condoms aren't 100% reliable, and birth control isn't either. She should also check to make sure her birth control (if she takes it) doesn't interfere or react with whatever meds shes taking for mono.

For the mono part, I doubt you can have sex without kissing/sharing saliva. So you would probably get it if you had sex.

You are asking us this question, and you already feel yourself you shouldn't. You should only be 100% certain and sure when it comes to sex, and from what I heard here it's not worth it.

Tell her to get over the mono first.
You get mono from drinking behind people, kissing, etc. So unless you want mono, then you shouldn't touch her. Mono is a really bad infection and is...basically hell and takes forever to get over. :P She should sit at home thinking about how shes gonna get over it rather than her next bootycall :P

Mono is permanent. No cure. It stays in your blood forever, and the symptoms will pop up whenever the hell they feel like it. Super big risk. And plus, if shes pretty much begging to have sex with you, chances are shes done it before. Much higher risk for even more STD's.
