You know I was just thinking you know when people get a boner in school people make fun of them.....? I'm mean I think its wrong its natural.
What if you pop a boner in the locker room? They automatically think your gay.
Have you ever been changing in the locker room and be looking around at nothing in specific and then a guy just looks at you and says: " are you looking at me? Your gay....don't look at me."


All the crap like this makes me think that after so long that people have been around and have been educated about them why do they still make fun of people for stupid shit?

I know there is immature people out there but I don't know....Maybe everyone is like this and I'm just wasting my time posting this.

But whatever...

Well, the point is, in many high schools gay students get bullied. The cool kids don't want any assocation with it, most of the time, for fear of being made fun of. Simple as that, although it should be OK to be gay.

Its wrong for people to slag people off about it but being the way some kids are insecure about themselves to make themselves feel better they'll slag off someone else.

Even if it WAS a boner over someone in there, it's none of their business, and they have no right to make fun of you. Anyone who's a teen regardless of sexuality should know that spontanious erections happen, and it's most likely happened to them, too.

As everyone on this post has responded it is horrible to be put down because of a erection in the change rooms; reasons like: looking at guys sexually, random erection (because of hormones), not being turned on but being turned on at looking at people getting undressed and relating that to sex. These are many reasons why you may be having an erection at the wrong place in the wrong time. But the best way to avoid it is to just remember to keep your cool and think about yourself and no one else. If you feel like you can control yourself and you are gay and you DO want to at least check some guys out then by all means go for it, at your own risk of course.

I don't think it is right. Throughout puberty, we get spontaneous erections because the hormones in our body make all of our thoughts horny. I don't think it is right to make fun of people for something that we can not really control.

I actually don't think it is right to make fun of anyone. When people make fun of people, they usually make fun of something about that person which that person is very insecure about or knows about. For example, a lot of people make fun of people who are over weight. Is it really that funny that someone may be over weight? I mean, you don't have to be attracted to them or anything, but at least respect them for who they are because sometimes they really can not help it. Some people are just born that way (example= most samoan people). Those who may be of a larger size usually know, understand, and are insecure about their weight, so why do we continuously put them down for something that they are insecure about and may not be able to control? In our society a lot of people think that anyone who is not stick skinny to be over weight, and somehow being overweight makes people ugly. There are some hot plus sized people out there, but we still seem to only see their weight. Basically I am trying to say that it really is never appropriate to make fun of people.

As for how if someone sees you with a boner, you are seen as gay... that really makes no sense. When they say things like this, they are basically saying that if you get an erection, then you are gay, therefore they are saying that straight people do not get erections...??? That doesn't make sense. I honestly think the reason behind why people do this is because they just enjoy making fun of people to bring themselves up. With this said, I do not understand why we attribute (unconsciously or consciously) making fun of people with being cool. Does this really make us cool? I think people do this because they are trying to feel as though they are keeping others in order (as a dictator may), so that they can be higher on the social rank. Anyways, I know that if anyone ever said that just because I have a boner, that I am gay, I would just scream "hey, maybe I am gay! do you have a problem with that?!" I would never give anyone the satisfaction of making fun of me or others. That is both inappropriate and unacceptable. This is because it takes hundreds of thousands of years for us to make such a dramatic change in society. Ever since the era of the cavemen, the human race has always been competing with others to become the top, or "alpha male". This same thought continues on into today's society as we all strive for power. When it comes to school, most people find power by picking on people in order to make themselves seem higher on the social ladder. I mean, we all know that class presidents don't usually have power over the student body (when it comes to the students themselves and has nothing to do with that administration/teachers), but that jocks (football players mainly) and cheer leaders are seen to have more power. I understand that it really varies from school to school, but we still see jocks and cheer leaders to have be high on the social ladder. With this comes the stereotype (which fits a lot of jocks/cheerleaders) that they pick on other groups/specific people in order to raise their own class (social class; example= football players) or to raise their personally "cool" level. Society and human interactions today are still very similar to those of the cavemen.

Wouldn't you consider those who are immature to be those who are still picking on others? I attribute maturity level to be similar to ones level of professional conduct. An example of this would be how a PROFESSIONAL boss, who loves his/her job, manages his people/employees. They are not going to put down any of them because they know that if they do so, they will work less efficiently, they may loose an employee, and that conflict may erupt within the work place. Those who have a less mature level would be those who would not be able to step into a professional office because of the stupid things they would do. Basically I am trying to say that those who make fun of others are still very immature.

However, it's just not the case. In my school, half the popular kids are so flamingly gay, it's not funny(not trying to be mean). Yet they still like to make fun of others if they think theyr'e gay. I'm one of the smartest kids in my grade(not bragging, it's supported by tests like the MEAP)and am harrased by these assholes sometimes. Not like putdowns, just physchological games. I see right thru the games, which pisses them off and makes them dislike me even more. 'Course, they do this to everyone else too.
