Thats exactly like one of my situation. I want to ask this girl to our school dance, but she is like, "one of the popular" people, and I'm like, a lower class. Although she did fancey me in years 7-9. I don't know if to ask her.

Personally, if you knew if she liked you, I would ask her. If shes a popular girl, you better hurry. (Y)
