I googled DOF and it says it stands for "Depth of Field." Though since I know like nothing about photography other than that you're an amazing photographer, I have no idea what that actually means. :D

Well you certainly know how to take amazing photographs. :)

And I suck with cameras, I can never even figure out what button to hit to take the picture lol.

I'm that terrible with them. ;)

Though if I put some effort into it I could probably be pretty good... Though nowhere near as good as you. :)

Depth of field is referring to how much of the image is in focus. For example, your subjects are quite isolated, therefore the depth of field is shallow. However, in landscapes, the depth of field is virtually infinite (everything's in focus).
This is controlled by the aperture, or f stops.

Also, that coke can would look even better if you sharpened it a little in photoshop :)
