In answer to your question which everyone else who posted after you very rudely ignored (it's typical of this site from my experience - I'm not saying that as a blind insult, it's true), from what I know, trunks are like briefs but with a lot of extra material on the sides so they almost look like boxers; a bit like boxer-briefs.

As for the underwear I wear, its boxers. They are all solid colours and I have loose and tight ones.
