Well this morning I woke up and it was a normal day. Starting getting ready for school and then got in our truck. On the way down the driveway our younger dog was at the top of the driveway. We started down and almost at the end of the driveway we heard a !Thump! Followed by a !Yipe!. Our dog ran under our back tires of our very big truck. I freaked jumped out and saw him laying there.....He looked up at me bleeding from everywhere and then laid his head back down. He is dead. I'm completely fucked up in the head seeing that and I cant stop crying. I don't know what i'm gonna do without him.

Hi.

Death is something that is very emotional for many people. It's something that you have to get through, if a loved one or pet has died. I know that sometimes it can feel like pets are part of the family, and it will be hard to get through.

Also having an image like that in your mind is unforgettable. You just have to try to get past these things in life, hard as it is.

We're here for you man

It will be alright, buddy. Losing a pet is just as bad as losing a family member. I know I consider my pets to be part of my family. I hope you start feeling better. If you want to talk, PM me.

Oh, how awful. I'm so sorry for you.

It takes a while to deal with such a sudden, unexpected (and graphic) loss. Treat it as you would any other type of real injury, be prepared to feel lousy, maybe cry a lot, but make sure you get some support from others and let them take care of you thru this awful time.

I adore my dogs, I cannot imagine life without them, so i really know how you feel. Somewhat philosophically, I personally believe that when you love someone (or something, like a dog), they never really leave you, they're still in there, you just have to reach a little further to feel their presence.

Let me know if I can help.

I can relate to you somewhat on this topic, I have never lost a pet, but I have experienced many other deaths and I know how bad it hurts...and just how emotional things can be. I have even had flashbacks and I know how bad that is too. I honestly really don't know what to tell ya...I usually end up crying after I get a flashback, I think if you just kept yourself busy then you wouldn't have as many flashbacks...hey if you ever need anyone to talk to I am always here for ya. I would gladly talk to you about this...just PM me...

Hello David, (I can call you 'David' right? :p)
I know that losing a dog is like losing a family member. Pets are as much a part of your family as your brother/sister/mom/dad is, so it CAN be really hard. 4ish years ago, my family lost our dog. I was especially devistated, seeing as I grew up with her. But over time, I adjusted, and got to feeling a bit better.
Seeing as this only happened yesterday, I'm willing to guess that you havn't had proper time to adjust. Give yourself a week or two, trust me, you'll be feeling a bit better, even if you don't think so now.

Good luck bro.
I'm here if you need me. :)
