Appealing negatinve rep

Is there any way of appealing against negative rep?

I received negative rep today for my post here link revoved on the basis that my comment was rude. I don't see how my comment can possibly be taken as rude, it certainly wasnt meant to be.

If you have a problem with any rep, PM Ant or Valerie. They can pretty easily delete it if it's against the rules/misuses rep.

Yea, PM any of the admins (red people) and they will look into it and have it fixed if needed.
