Well yesterday i was at a party and my ex-g/f was there. We broke up about a month ago and we wanted to get back together. So when I went inside to get a some coca cola, she came in too. We were sitting on the couch flirting and I decided that would be the perfect time to ask her out again. So I did and she said that she didn't want to at that time because she was going to try to hook up with this one dude named brandon. So then I got really mad at her and she felt bad for saying that. So later that night she asked me out. and I said, " no, I don't feel like it right now. Maybe tomorrow." Then I went outside to apologize for saying that and I thought I saw her making out with another dude. It turns out they were just hugging. When she was getting ready to leave the party I decided I would say sorry and she did too. We decided that we would start dating on monday. So when I got home from the party I called her and she said that she didn't want to start dating me again. :( Now I don't know what to do. She never hooked up with that dude and I feel bad. If someone could leave me some advice I would appreciate it.:yeah: :what:

Well, you two obviously have mixed feelings for each other. You really want to do something about it, that one is obvious, but sometimes in situations like this it is best to do nothing and let it play out. If you two aren't mature enough to stick to something you said, maybe you shouldn't be involved with each other, simple as that. Otherwise though, you need to set this straight. Call her up, or sit her down, just express her feeling, let her express her's, and compromise.

Welcome to VT btw, seeing as this is one of your first posts, I'm Will, here to help everyone with relationships.

This seems to be a lot of chaos between you two. Seeing as how you ask her out, she says no, she asks you out, you say no, etc..., to me it shows neither of you are ready for a relationship. That being said, you two seem to have some amount of affection for each other, however, for now I'd stay out of it and see where it goes. Since it was at a party, everyone was having a good time, it'd be better to ask her in a different environment where you say your feelings to her and she says hers to you, that way it's out in the open and you can go from there.

Exactly. If there's so much silly back and forth drama between you two, I don't think either of you are ready for a relationship with anyone, let alone each other. If you guys are changing your mind so much, do you really like one another?

But, she may have just been acting oddly, because like said above, it was a party with lots of people, and she may have been more nervous. After she's cooled off, talk to her privately about it and see what happens.
