yeah I get what your saying...I have felt that a way about other things when I have gotten hurt...I don't really know how to explain things though...but I think it's normal...

yeah, I know what you mean.
I wanted mines to fade so that people couldnt see them and I could wear short sleeves and stuff. But I also didn't want to lose them because I kinda liked them, its hard to explain but i'm sure its pretty normal.

I feel the same. I hate my scars because they look horrible and I can't wear short sleeves any more. But I also don't want them to fade and I always think about making them worse so that they won't heal. Yesterday I cut some words into my arm and now I want them to stay there because I like them. They're lyrics from my favourite song. I also have a heart that I cut into my skin once, and I think it's quite cute. If that doesn't sound weird.
