Yeah, the time I first came out, I was in a school populated by a lot of religious people, and I was discriminated against every day. I'm glad I moved away.
If you are not out to someone, why?
I'm afraid I'd lose too many friends.
When are you planning to be out?
In college, which is when I'll be looking for someone, but also when I can express myself a lot more. I'll probably still hide it then until I'm comfortable, though

Too scared that they will be freaked out- at my school, the most popular insult is 'Your Gay'. This is probably the biggest reason.

Some immediate family. Twin brother and older brother mostly. Most of my friends, as well as on here.

Not straight up, but you can feel a little bit of strife from some. Most of my friends told me they would take care of anyone bothering me.

Mother, she's religious as well as stubborn. She's determined to get me to go on a date with a girl. I just keep saying no. Extended family, I was warned what would happen if I was gay...
