I used to be the same, but worse. I used to just not drink at all, because in some way and for some strange reason I just didn't like drinking.
All I done was literally forced myself to drink just one glass. Think of all the wonderful positives of drinking water. It really helps your skin, and you do generally feel fresher and better. Just have one small glass, then build up.
GO DO IT NOW :P

That's good advice, I think you should go with it.

You have to drink eight 8oz. glasses, or equivilent, a day. I used to HATE drinking water, but I drink a few bottles a day. Just start with a small glass and work yourself up until you feel comfortable doing it. It shouldn't be disgusting, unless it has some type of wierd flavor. Try spring water. It's nice, cool, fresh, and tastes like water should taste.

It's pretty common these days to dislike water.
Try drinking colder water, or slightly flavored water, it may help. Don't drink things like Dasani, and other water (usually bottled) that tastes "chemically" (to me at least).
If nothing else, try drinking things with high water content. Most drinks have a lot of water, so you probably aren't too lacking.

Give flavoured water a try, it comes in all sorts of flavours and some are very nice. I dont mind tap water around here, but anywhere else in the country I hate it, it's vile.

How bouts adding a little blackcurrant squash or something to your water. You can get 'natural' squash with no sugar, dodgy chemicals etc, and you would still be drinking like 90% water, only it would taste nicer if you don't like the taste of water itself.
And Andy, you're completely right. Why does water from the north taste all gross? Welsh water is pretty disgusting too :P

Why not go and buy some crystal lite or similar juice crystal mix? You can have them as individual packets or big packets and just mix it in. I do it very often or drink carbonated flavoured water.

I hate water too, but I found a way to like it, I put it in a jug then put in the fridge, wait until it's been in there about an hour so it's nice and cold, this makes it harder to taste as it's cold

Room temperature water is not awesome, and I love water. Also, hot/warm water is even worse. Cold water is awesome. Try chilled water.
When they say "you should drink a lot of water, it's good for you", you don't have to start drink a LOT of water, because you won't be used to it. You can start off with a bottle a day, and just drink it when you're bored.
I started like that and now I drink 2 liters a day!

i'm a heavy water drinker, it is not necessarily that i like it, but i drink out of boredom. Just grab a bottle, or tap water if it tastes alright and keep zipping. i usually have 3 bottles of 600 ml a day. thats almost two liters. and its all out of boredom.
it will improve your health, and hydrate your skin to look healthier, not mentioning reducing the sugar you consume out of other liquids. =]

You can buy little flavor packages that help make the water taste better, but personally I love it as is.
Hope this helps! ;)

Robinson's fruit juice.
Drink carbonated fruit water.. cooolddd... delicious :)
It's like a drink but you're still getting the benefits from water. I'm sure eventually you'll be able to drink it easily. :)

I used to not be able to drink any kind of plain water at all, I always used to have to have squash or something else along with it.
One day I just thought sod it and I forced myself to just drink water, I didn't drinkn anything else for that week apart from tap water. I've slowly grown to like it and am quite happy to drink any kind of water now be it bottled, from the tap or otherwise.
