I just finished watching it in the theatre. I don't know how to say this. It was a major disappointment. I downloaded the leaked version a month ago and thought it was pretty good. The story was OK but there were major flaws. I expected the final version to be better but it turns out not to be true. The story still had missing explanations.

My major gripe is the special effects. The entire time I watched the movie I wondered "why does this still look too obviously animated?" It's like they cheaped out on the processing. Sometimes when a person was talking I heard a high pitched sound that usually comes from edited voice. Parts of the film looked unreal. Green screening was obvious, when people "super jumped" they didn't fall correctly, movements were unnatural, and a lot of scenery was just ugly.

You do know that most leaked versions are just work prints and they aren't completely finished by the company so they are going to be crappy. If you want a good quality go to the theatre or wait for the dvd. Also it's against the law to download it so i don't advice publicly admitting it again.

I did go to the theatre. I knew the leaked version was unfinished. I'm complaining because the final still looked bad.

I went to see it with my friend Sarah.
We thought it was awesome.
Then again,
I've never seen any other X-Men movies,
Nor read the comics.

So considering that I knew nothing prior,
I loved it = ]

I saw it yesterday and I really enjoyed it. The storyline was cool and I absolutely loved Sabretooth.
Deadpool was the only slightly disappointing thing for me.

I can't wait for X-Men Origins: Magneto!

I liked it, Ben was disappointed also.
All the technical stuff means nothing to me, maybe that's why.

I liked the card dude. :-P

Deadpool was the one that had all the mutants' powers spliced into him right? Yea he died too easily and didn't even use all his powers. He could have been indestructible if he used the diamond skin.

The storyline was ok but some things just weren't right. I can't wait for Magneto either. He's my favorite one.

Yes, that was Deadpool.
I found him disappointing because his character lost all of his autonomy and individuality when he joined the Weapon X Program. I would have enjoyed his character and the scenes with him in more if he had actually felt like a mutant as opposed to an empty shell.

Btw, he doesn't have the diamond skin as he doesn't need it. He is effectively immortal as he has really powerful regenerative powers over which he has complete conscious control.

Same here...I can't say I loved it, but I certainly enjoyed it.

Well I'm pretty sure he needed it when Wolverine sliced his head off lol. When his head was falling and it was shooting the laser eyes the destruction was way to unreal. The way it was falling in a perfect spiral is just physically wrong.

Tbh, no he doesn't need it even then. He can survive being decapitated as long as his head is placed on top of his torso again because of his insanely strong regenerative powers.
