I know this isn't puberty related, but it kind of is. Can skinny dipping in a lake or pool be harmful to your body in any way? Like can algae or chemicals be harmful?

Swimming in a lake at all can be somewhat dangerous due to bacteria etc, but skinny dipping compared to regular swimming doesn't make a difference. Either way all/most of your body comes in contact with the water.

As a open water swimmer myself...no need to worry about swimmning in most body's of water (except for certain particularly fithly lakes and rivers). skinney dipping is the exact same as non-skinny dipping...Water still gets in your bathing suit...

Bathing suits were only invented to protect mens genitals and to cover them from women seeing. Swimming in a dirty lake is bad like in az lake plesant but other lakes like Bartlett and oters are safe to swim in naked. The water still gets in there any ways.

all the swiming suit was made for was to cover up your body and offer support where needed (sometimes) like, guys, the package, girls, the breasts. water still gets up in there.
