Ok so I shaved my upper lip today for the first time (I'm 14). I used one of those electric shavers instead of a razor cuz apparantly it's easier. Anyway, now it feels raw and it stings a little. It just overall feels odd. did anyone else ever experience this? :what:

Don't fear! Yes, it's just a normal sensation that is "clean". It can be itchy and it may sting. The skin hasn't been exposed to to much hard surface for a while, while the hair was there.

It should go away in a few days or so and probably next time you do it it definitely wont hurt, you maybe should tell someone just to confirm it's not anything bad. But your perfectly fine. I was the same :)

Well, the electric razor can have some benefits over the conventional razor, but I stick with the old and trusty.

The problem might have been you left it in one area too long, or that you didn't wet your face and shaved area beforehand. And you should always use a bit of after shave afterwards.

Remember - use water and shaving cream.

I definitely felt that the first time I shaved, and it was not fun at all. However, since this is the first time you shaved your body just never had felt the sensation of hair being removed from your face before. After a couple of shaves you won't feel that sensation again as your body will get used to the sensations. In short, you are fine, and nearly all of us had the same issue as you our first times.
