When you go to add someone as a friend, it says "Befriend exampleusername". Befriend means to terminate your friendship, so this should really be changed as it's confusing.

Definition of befriend:
"To behave as a friend to."
So basically, to 'befriend' someone means to become their friend. Meaning that the usage here is perfectly fine. (And besides, it couldn't be changed without going through and editing all the templates, on all the different places the 'befriend exampleusername' is featured, meaning much work.)

That's exactly what I thought, I always thought befriend someone was to break friendship not make friends. I was a little confused by this when I first saw it
