A silent storm
On the newly awakened horizon
Erupts into a full scale shout.
The waves of sound
Penetrate the tyranny of
Bolstered doors and windows
Braving the tempest.
The silent thunder
And screened lightning
Urge on the invisible rain drops
As the imaginary storm progresses.
We are forced to hide from what's not there
In an effort to save ourselves,
Not from the army of H20,
But from what we are becoming.
In the process of deciding
What is right and what is wrong
We have let the silent thunder
Whisper commands into our ever willing ears.
We have taken to heart what has not been said
And in the process we have fallen apart.
We have bore witness to the screened lightning
With our own sightless eyes.
We are conflicted because of the conflict
That is not occurring somewhere
On the other side of the planet...
We are victims of the silent thunder.
On the newly awakened horizon
Erupts into a full scale shout.
The waves of sound
Penetrate the tyranny of
Bolstered doors and windows
Braving the tempest.
The silent thunder
And screened lightning
Urge on the invisible rain drops
As the imaginary storm progresses.
We are forced to hide from what's not there
In an effort to save ourselves,
Not from the army of H20,
But from what we are becoming.
In the process of deciding
