The parents of the Olympic diver Tom Daley have taken him out of school after he complained of being bullied.
The 14-year-old athlete, who found himself in the public eye while representing Britain at the Beijing Olympics last year, said that he had been attacked by pupils in the playground of his school in Devon.
His parents said that the bullying began when he started Year 10 in September, after returning from China. The situation became untenable last week when an older boy allegedly cornered Tom and said: “How much are those legs worth? We’re going to break your legs.”
I just think this is so sad, what's wrong with people? Arseholes
(Wish I had his physique!)

Oh my god. What twats. Your right he does have an amazing physique, he doesn't deserve it.
Is he going to go to another school, or are they going to home school him?

They're just keeping him off school for a bit before competitions at the moment. I hope some private school might offer him a place where he will be appreciated.

People piss on every achievement you can get, it's a wonder why anybody still tries to do well in life these days.

Yea, that kid is amazingly attractive and fit and is getting all the girlz :P
So, the reason they are bullying him is because they are frickin jealous that hes most popular teen athlete in the world.
I feel bad for him though. I think they should put him in a private school.

I read this morning that a couple of private schools have offered him a place. So he should be alright then. Thank god.

They are jealous because he's done something amazing, and has lots of potential in the future.. and what are these bullies? Just demeaning idiots.
He doesn't deserve that kind of treatment, and he should get a place at a good private school or something.

Its jealousy, pure unadulterated jealousy
They will never amount to what he's already done because they're lazy low life scum that don't have the drive nor ambition so instead of trying to improve themselves they want to destroy him
they truly are pathetic
I hope he finds a safe harbor
He is a brilliant teen and an amazing athlete with ALLOT of potential, Britain should be very proud to have been represented by him, honestly hes the only athlete that i gave a shit about during the olympics because of his skill level at such a young age.

I hate bullies, at the end of the day they're jealous that he will get more money in his life than they ever will. I don't understand how people can be jealous of people's achievements (and the boy's body, I wouldn't mind muscles like that :) ), why can't they just be happy for him? FFS they're bullying him over him wearing speedos, what is the point?
