I started gagging myself after every meal about a week ago, but now it seems like I'm not hungry, so I haven't eaten since Sunday (4.5 days ago) and I feel perfectly fine, and have no major side effects except for a lack of bowel movements, which I consider understandable considering how long it's been since I last ate.

I'm seeing my therapist on Monday, but I'm just wondering what you guys make think is going on? I know you can't diagnose, but I'm just asking for some opinions, and please don't tell me to eat or anything like that...

Ah, I get it. You make yourself throw up when you eat.

Well, why do you do that?

Is there any other reason you don't eat other than no hunger?

The main reason I made myself throw up was because I'm pretty uncomfortable with the body I'm in and lately, it seems like that's the only way to lose weight.

The only reason I don't eat is because I'm not hungry.

My Mom's been trying to force me to eat because she found out how long it's been, and I'm kind of worried about what might happen when I finally do eat...

If you want to lose weight, do it properly and go to your doctor.

If you want to end up with severe health problems, or end up dead, then by all means, carry on. If not, stop now and go to your doctor.

i no wot u mean bbe wen u say its seems the only way to lose weight, im the same.
but as you have made yourself sick and havnt eaten for that long, your stomache wants food and you head is telling you your not hungry so you dont eat and lose weight. the problem with this is once you start eating again the weight comes back even faster, but i know its not easy. your therapist should help. Good luck anyway:)

I've been doing it correctly for about 4 months.

I exercise, eat correctly, and keep away from junk foods. But I still gain weight... This is finally something that's working and it's VERY tempting...

It is not a way to lose weight. It's a way to die.

So stop while you still can and go to the doctor and do it properly.

The best weight lost is slowly and gradually.

Well I'm not going to comfort you or try to diagnose you

Just to let you know that the only way to loose weight by starving yourself is to do it till you die

If you start eating again after starving yourself your body will desperately start gathering fat, because it was starved and it wants to be prepared for the possibility of it happening again.

Really go see Your theraphist and talk about it. If the healthy way didn't work find a new healthy way, read about it or see a specialist on nutrition so they can teach you how to loose weight healthy AND loosing weight doesn't have to be quick, any weight loss that is quick usually causes your body to stock up on fat when it gets the chance.

I had a relative just like you, she was almost anorexic.. But she was just so strong willed she eventually just kept working out and eating right till she saw results, shes managed to eat normally like this for 6 years now.....

So in general.. The VERY tempting route is the VERY shortterm route which almost always in the end puts you back or further than back.

Well, I did eat. Once I ate, my appetite slowly came back, and I've been eating normally since. The only problem I've been having now is that I can't keep my food down, I don't even force myself to throw up.

I'm going to guess this is a bad sign?

I'd guess it'll just pass with time, once your body fully recovers

But seriously m8 if you don't like something about your body change it healthily, extremes never really work

Thanks for the advice, I'll make sure to point it out to my doctor anyways just as a precaution. I'll have to see my clinic doctor again and work out a new diet plan, I suppose.

You probably ate too much. You shouldn't eat so much when you've not ate for so long. That's probably why you started to throw up.
