The only metal I listen to actively.. Is local and usually folk, posting links wouldn't achieve much since you can't understand the lyrics.. but if anyone is interested in listening to lyrical blabber they can't understand PM me

By retarded I mean taking some metal contraption and using it as a pick or as a capo xD

Dragonforce is quite good. I like most of their stuff. They're kind off played to death by my brother, so t gets annoying sometimes, but still awesome band.

I actually like Herman Li and Dragonforce, they're like the only metal/hard rock I listen to, but I also love Van Halen and classic bands like that.

Oh, is it the video where he shows how to make the Pac-man sound, elephant sound, etc...? That video is rather lame as all those effects were made long before he thought of them yet acts as though he conjured them up. I think it was a wammy bar he used as a pick.

Dragonfail? LOL, I've seen a few videos of them live. Doesn't sound as good as in-studio recordings.

Honestly, the only good thing about Dragonforce is Herman Li ebcause my friend told me their singer is terrible live. But, I can respect them because of Herman Li. Y'know, he's self taught and that is amazing for someone who self taught.

I'll admit, live they're not that good. I've seen videos (high-quality ones) of them live and they're really not that great. The guitars, keyboards and drums are usually fairly good live but the singer not so hot live. In studio, the singer is better.

Herman Li is an amazing guitarist, very funny, very good. I believe he said he started at 15 or 16 playing at school and possibly at home. I do respect him for that.

I can't stand them tbh. Their music gives me the biggest fucking headache and it sounds like some retard abusing a Gameboy Advance and the keypad of a polyphonic mobile phone!!! Eurgh, it's too much.

Actually they DO have talent. I just can't really stand the singer. And just because you've been playing guitar for 6 years you think you have the right to judge who has talent or not? Anyway back on subject I stopped listeining to them because their latest albm sounded WAY too much like inhuman rampage

They are horrible live because they can't even play their own songs! They're too fast. I respect every musician, and look at Meatloaf! A lot of bands are only good in the studio, and that makes you respect bands like Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band more!
