Dating friends

Okay just opinions im after.

There is a girl who I like to think im a friend with.
We get on and share the samle hobby and whatever.
Now I also know her folks quite well and sort of work with her mom and have lifts with her and stuff.

Now what I want to know is If i asked this girl out because when you are friends with an atractive person its obviously easy to get attached to them:wub:
If things do or even dont work out will this do you think make things awkward?
Also to add because of our hobbies my parents and her parents talk alot too and are friends will this make thing worse?
Also we both travel because our hobby takes us all over the country often to different places.

In short is dating friends a bad idea?
Do I get over it and date someone I dont know so well and build on a relationship with a girl I meet? (If i meet one)

I strongly believe that one should be friend with another person before dating.

I'm just old-school but I can't see myself dating a near stranger.

By the way, in case of break-up, it needn't be awkward. Just man up and accept things how they are. Awkwardness between exes comes because one of the parties involved cannot accept fate as it went.

Be a rational human being and there won't be any problems.

dating friends is always a tricky thing. you just have to weigh up whether you want to risk what you have now, for something more? only you can make that decision, but there are some things that can help you make a decision like that. before you should take this risk, its probably a good idea to see or think about whether she has given any indication that she might like you back. the bottom line is, just be sure that you have considered the risks before asking her out.
