I just came across this forum and it seems quite active so I just thought I'd say hi and see if anyone here can help me.

I cut and have done so only on single occasions for the last four years or so, but since about a month ago it's become a regular thing and I now find myself cutting every day. No one knows. I don't really have a reason for it, I just hate life and I feel a lot of confusion and anger at the moment. The cutting helps me feel better. I want to stop but don't feel ready yet, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Okay heres a few ideas
1) Go for a long walk when you feel you wanna cut
2) write a diary insert wen you feel you wanna cut
3) trampolining " "
4) Talk to someone, probably from this website because we do it a lot, if it so happens to be me check profile then contact info for my MSN
5) Cook something you love then eat it all to yourself :)
6) Do something you really enjoy doing and do it as long as you can (cutting does NOT count)
7) Try cutting into something not part of your body like a desk (Dunno if this works, worth a try)
8) Try colouring in some thing that look pretty
9) Try and get a counseller perhaps
10) Punching bag?

Hi welcome to Vt bbe..
well you relli need 2 tell someone about this because you cnt stop on ur own!
but wen u want to cut u neeed to distract youself.

How bout:
watching a comedy
going for a walk
readin a book
magazines!
scream into your pillow (always works)
punch bag
tell someone how ur feelings
right down all your emotions and why you want to cut
go online
eat something that you love (healthy snacks work bettr i find)
paint your nails
give yourself a make-over
take a long bath
dance in your room..
