I don't think it's beacuse your tomboyish because their are some guys who find that really attractive. It's rely hard to tell you why you haven't been asked out, but I can't tell you maybe it's the ways you act? Like your personality or if you are a shy person. Also if theirs a guy you really like I would just go and ask him out. I have had girls ask me out before.

I pretty much agree with what Spunky said above, its hard to comment without knowing what you look like and how you dress etc., but its unlikely to be just to do with being a bit of a tomboy.

Hang in there and be patient, you cant make things like this just happen, and often they do so in unexpected ways. Things are easier if you're one of the sort of bubbly outgoing people that everyone likes. I'm not one of those people myself, I'm one of the shy ones on the fringes. Just try not to be too invisible, or like Spunky says make the first move yourself.

Don't worry the day will come. When I was in school my friends always had boyfriends and I didn't so much. I was very shy and didn't talk much, yet my mother would always tell me how beautiful I was, and I would be like "then why don't guys ever talk to me". She would always say that it was because I was intimidating to them. Which still didn't make sense at the time. There are also alot of clicks in school so for one person to like someone of a different click would them be denied friendship by those they hang out with. Don't think there is something wrong with you there isn't. I always preferred guys older than me because I felt the boys in school didn't understand me. You could be more adult for your age thereoff presenting an uncommon way of thinking. There could be many of reasons why boys don't seem to openly show interest. I've also felt more comfortable around guys making myself seem more tomboyish but I just think more like a guy therefore I don't have many girl friends. If you have confidence and show that it doesn't affect you weather they show interest in you or not. Believe me they strive on that. What I've learned about the guy brain is that they like challenges. That's not to say totally ignore them completely. But don't go out of your way to get them to show interest. I hope you can get what I'm saying. Guys want what they can't have. Have confidence, do what you like to do, and don't let the little things bother you. Keep your composure at all times. Then you walk onto the playing field standing tall and fierce. There's only one you and you do not want to cloud that image with what other people or the media would have you think.

Don't worry about it! You're only 14, you have a lot of time to get asked out by a boy. I didn't have my first boyfriend until just before my sixteenth birthday, and some of my friends didn't have one until recently either. You don't NEED a boyfriend. There's nothing wrong with you, and the right guy will like you for who you are anyways.
