Haha. well what you are doing now should certainly help. Apparently the bowflex is a good workout machine. But why do u want a 6-pack anyways?

first, u gotta cut out junk foods
it is very hard to see you 6 pack if you have fats on your stomach
and keep working out...
thats all i gotta say

they say you should eat 5 portions of fruit & veg a day (which is meant to help a six pack) but thats a bit unrealistic

white bread and pasta is meant to be bad for six packs

A six pack isnt something you can just work on and it shows up in a couple of weeks.
It takes time to build up your muscles.
I dont know what kind of shape you are in just now, but it also depends on your total body fat aswell as (unfortunately) your genes. But if you have a layer of fat on your stomach then, you arent going to be able to see your abs, no matter how many sit ups you do.
Aerobic exercises are the best fat-burners, but like i said, i dont know what kind of shape you're in.
Like others have said aswell, your diet is extremely important.

Another things is, the sit ups you do, it doesnt matter how many of them you can do, its the contraction of your muscles when you do them.
There is no point in doing 50 sit ups if you hardly feel a thing when you do them. You need to really squeeze your muscles, contracting them hard, when you do sit ups for them to have the most effect.

However, most importantly, youre young and youre still growing. You have to be really careful not to over do it.
It might be an idea to talk to your doctor/some kind of trained fitmess instructor so they can tell you exactly what kind of exercises you could be doing and how often. If you do too much, your development could be effected, so be careful!

Goodluck! :D

I have a six-pack and it has been a bitch to get and maintain. I usually work my stomach every day. At the YMCA, I do three sets of 80, 90, and 100 lbs until I can't do any more. At home, I usually do 2 sets of sit-ups (ish) and 2 sets of this pilates exercise. I don't eat a lot, but what I do eat is healthy. I don't eat ANY junk food. Keep in mind that everyone has a six-pack, but if you can't see it, it's covered by a layer of fat.

Yeah, I used to do 200crunches a everynight. Situps don't do anything, they just make the muscles by your pubes stronger. You wanna do crunches, these are like half-sit ups per-se. You do the same thing as a situp except you ben your knees so that your feet are touching the ground and each knee is about 6inches apart. Then you lift yourself halfway up and then control yourself on the way down.

It's not the number of 'em you do that counts, it's your form. As soon as I get a job I'm going to join kickboxing and get my sixpack, maybe more back :)

Nope, the thing with carbs is what you put on them. You have butter with toast in the morning, it's something most of us do and that's why carbs are viewed as 'bad', hence the atkins diet.

you need to get rid of the layer of fat covering your chest and abs first. sprinting is a good idea but take it easy though

It's not only one thing, theres plenty of things that can get you there. Long runs or swims that will make you tired and sweaty will help you lose fat and the excess weight. Then it's the toning you have to do.

It hight protein foods and protein shakes every 2 hours.....like....a turkey and egg sandwich, with a good protein shake every 2 hours....

Only do that if you work out constantly, like you're a pro. That can get you fat REALLY easy. If you have a low metabolism however, the only way to get muscle gain is high protein meals. Otherwise your body will purge all of the protein you need to gain muscles :P....

Yeah, so, for the most part, don't do that guys XD
