Okay. I need help here. I'm a thirteen year old guy, who weighs 85-ish pounds. Does that mean I'm anorexic? No. Do I get called anorexic, even though I'm not? Yes. I mean, my brother even calls me Anorexic Annie sometimes, and it really makes me mad. What should I do to make him stop? And what can I do to make people not think I have anorexia? Not that it's a bad thing, but I don't have it. I eat. Make not as much as others, but I do. Thanks for any help. :D

Anorexia is an illness, not a body type. By the sounds of it you are not anorexic.

You just seem to have a very high metabolism. If you truly DO want to gain weight but you have a high metabolism, try joining a gym and using weights to build muscle and boost your calorie intake by eating more protein and carbs.

I know, but my dad used to be unbelievably skinny and as soon as he started building lots of muscle and increasing his proteins and carbs intake he started to gain LOTS more weight. Now my dad is FAR from skinny, he is very muscular. And yes, his metabolism has increased but he keeps going to the gym regularly and still maintains his size.

To the OP, if you want more advice on how to gain weight, talk to one of the instructors at a gym or a doctor.

well if your not anorexicc then ignore them, i know its hard but your are only 85 pounds which is very skinny, so to some people it might look like you are..
