For some reason i'm always like really hungry and its driving me crazy! i dont wanna get more overwieght then i am.. anyone have advice?

"Hunger + puberty=growth". You need more calories during puberty for all that growing!

Try to eat good foods, Spanky: Fresh fruits, veggies, salads, whole grains, you know, probably all the stuff you don't like but know are good for you! And get regular exercise.

Try to minimize junk foods, fatty burgers, salty stuff. Your body will thank you, and you won't gain the weight.

K thanks sam, because its hard because im trying too lose some wieght but yet im going through puberty which makes me always starving so UHHGHG! i guess ill eat apples and stuff.. Is soup healthy? like raman noodle?

Read the label, Spanky. Soup typically has loads of hidden sodium (salt) and a surprising amount of fat, both of which aren't great. But there are worse choices.

Fruits and veggies are good, whole grains.

Foods that contain high amounts of fiber do a good job of filling you up. :)

Keep yourself busy so you wont think of food.
What makes you fat are all those sweets and junk food.
eat properly during meal times. and work out alot. ;)

When you are really hunger but you don't want to eat more, drink lots of water.

just eat healthy...fruits and veggies....drink milk for strong bones...drink water when you get hungry or before you eat meals...that way you will eat less. It has worked for me...I drink a glass or two of water before and after meals and it fills you up...also if you are trying to lose weight make sure you are eating small snacks throughout the day and eat breakfast...this can help you maintain or achieve a healthy weight. Get regular excercise.

Same problem im always hungry I could raid my fridge and still be hungry, I eat dinner and 30 minutes later im hungry again or I devour my plate and am still hungry...

I suggest eating meet, not fried or the fast-food kind, and vegtable with grains such as rice etc. Being hunger is a natural part of being a teenage boy. I wouldn't freak out.

Sounds normal. Meat would keep you more full longer, so have plenty of meat with veges, fruits, grains, etc... .

"Puberty=lots of rapid growth and development" Which means that you need lots of energy, which means you get hungry a lot.

Auty is correct about fiber-rich foods filling you up (whole grains, many fruits and veggies). I'd recommend against meats, they're high in fats (which give you that 'full' feeling), but they;re not necessarily good for you (cholesterol and the llike).

Eat a balanced diet (go search one online), and snack sensibly (have some fresh fruit, munch on a carrot, or celery, etc.), and you'll be OK.

As an FYI, it takes a bit of time after you eat *whatever* to enter your bloodstream and eliminate that hungry feeling. If you eat a carrot or two, give it a few minutes before you rush for the chips or pizza.
