Well, lately i have been wanting to buy condoms just to see what they are like. Also, i'm getting the feeling my gf may want to do it soon so i'll need one, but i dont know how to buy them. I know you can buy them in bathrooms of some places near me but im worried i get caught by anyone. Any advice would be appreciated.

Well no one will know unless theyre in the bathroom with you. If it's not a single-person bathroom, just wait until everyone else in it is gone. Most guys won't even care if they see u buying one. Condoms are easy to hide in a wallet or pocket. Just don't leave it lying around the house :) You could also.....
Go to a major supermarket, like walmart or target. they have a wide variety, so u can pick and choose. then you can either use the self checkout (if youre embarrassed by the cashier). The cashiers really won't say anything anyways. It's just like youre buying a regular item
Most convenience and corner stores carry some too.

I don't know how things work in your country, but I would imagine you can go to a regular general store or drugstore and pick up a box of condoms from there. It is really not a big deal to buy condoms, and if you are embarrassed about buying them, then use the self checkout lanes (if your country has them at its stores) or buy a bunch of things with the condoms so that they are not so noticeable.
As for the size of condoms they are generally regular condoms fit nearly most guys. Unless you have a very big penis (7 inches +), then start with regular sized condoms. Also, if you have a latex allergy, then stay away from latex condoms and use polyurethane ones.
Keep in mind that if you and your girlfriends are not virgins that it is essential that you both are tested before sexual activity. Also, keep in mind that condoms only protect against fluid borne STDs and don't provide protection against skin-to-skin transmissions. Finally, make sure your girlfriend is on birth control or that you both know where to get emergency contraception if she is not and your condoms fails for whatever reason.

You can just walk into the local pharmacy, have a look around, and pick out a box. The person at the counter wont judge you, and if they do...it isn't any of their business anyway. It will seem awkward at first but it really is the safest thing to do. I dont know about buying them in bathrooms...they dont seem to be around that often in aus...maybe it is different for the uk...but if you can find a bathroom that sells them, that is probably your best bet if you want to avoid awkwardness.

Just go into any store and buy em. You can be any age to buy and honestly the people at the counter dont really care. Even when you buy 3 12 packs at the same time they dont really even notice...personal experience :D

Most people feel awkward when they buy condoms, but don't worry it's fairly simple and no-one will ask any questions.
Just go into a store and buy them, just as you would a drink.
Or you can go into a doctors or pharmacy and get them in confidence as it is likely that there will be less people there than a shop.

If you buy them at a store, I doubt the cashier will say anything to you. They see many people doing the exact same thing daily, and to be honest, they don't even notice what they are ringing up. After a while for them, it becomes automatic. Scan, bag, scan, bag. One thing that may you feel less awkward is maybe buying some other things along with the condoms.
If you buy them in a bathroom, just go in, and if there's no one in there, buy them as quickly and discreetly as possible, and then leave.

You dont have to buy them my friend. alot of youth clubs or GUM clinic will often have a mthod of contraception, weather that be Femi-doms for girls or condoms for guys. just ask your local youth leader to see if they can get you some. they wont ask questions as it is agaisnt the poilicy.

You can get them from slot machines in many public toilets in the uk, especially at places like motorway service stations and in pubs and some restuarants. Otherwise you can pick them up in tesco and go to a self service checkout like other people have said in other coutries.

"Hello, can you direct me to the condoms?"
That how you ask. To buy them, you usually put them on a conveyor belt leading to the cashier who rings them up, and puts them in a bag. :P
There's nothing wrong or illegal about you buying them, so nothing to worry about.
If a cashier mentions it, or doesn't let you buy it, they are risking their job, and legal issues.
If you do feel self conscious, many places have self check outs these days, which I would guess is much less embarrassing, even though like Autumn says, any cashier honestly doesn't care what you buy.

YOu can just pick them up at the local CVS or drug store, its not like the people at the cash register are going to quiz you about them. You need courage though. YOu can also obtain them in bathrooms, just put the quarters in and take them, don't wait for someone to notice.

There's no reason to worry about, I mean if you are going to buy a condom it means that you are a responsible person because you are taking care of your health. If you are going to buy them in a bathroom JUST DO IT! Don't mind what the other people say or think about you.
Now, if you will buy them at the pharmacy, and you don't know how to ask for them just say: "Excuse me, Can I have a package of condoms please? or something like that. You don't have to be shy or kinda because It's completely natural.
As simple as I've told you.

Just go to the drugstore and buy them, it means you're getting some, so don't be embarased to buy them. I would avoid the bathroom dispenser condoms because the quality might not be as good as that of one of the name brands like Trojan or Durex.

Who Will Catch You? You don't have to be 18.

I am always scared of people that are in the store, and that will end up judging me, but still hide it under something else like a cheap shirt that kind of looks good and get that too! I know the cashier wont do anything, so yea.....! You get protection and a new shirt!
