Well, i had just come home from pickin my lil bruv up frm nursery with my mum, and her bf had been painting but we didnt know. so we walkd in and i got all paint on my jacket. so she made me take it off to wipe the paint off, and i was wearin a short sleeve top underneif.. with cuts all down my arm. so i went to go in the kitchen to put a jumper on before takin my jacket off but she sed no, to get paint off first b4 it dries..
luckily i managed to hide the cuts by using the jacket to hide.
but it made me realise how mad she wud get it she seen the cuts,
i really need to quit cutting b4 she does find out!!
i dunno why i posted this. sorry for the inconvenience:)xxxxxxxxxxx

Maybe this was your wake-up call to stop doing it :) Summer is coming so you wont be wearing coats for much longer. You can't really hide them all that time!
You can do it hun :)

Heh. Lucky for you.. I've already been caught. I had to try on a t-shirt for my parents, and also a teacher noticed.
No one was mad at me, but eh.. I don't like the fact my parents actually know now.

I know how you feel. After i cut...i always had to be so careful, keep my arms in close to my body...i really didn't want people to find out...it was one of the motivations behind me quitting. I hope it does the same for you :)

Summer is coming so you wont be wearing coats for much longer. You can't really hide them all that time!
It's easier to cover them up than you think.
Me being a self-harmer for 4 and a half years, many summers I've had scars on my arms, and I successfully covered them up. Though I will NOT post ways to cover them up, because I want to encourage Hollie to end cutting, instead of continuing but covering the scars up well.
However, I'm glad that acknowledge that you feel you want to end self-harming before your mum finds out. This could be your tactic, next time you have the razor in your hand preparing to cut, remind yourself of how much you'd hate it if your mum found out about it once she see's the scars.
And for covering them up in the meantime, try scar removal creams. Or try using make-up such as foundation people would use to cover up spots :P. It may sound weird but it's more than likely to work!
