Aliens????

I belive that there at least was because we havent been to all other planets and like the big science people just calm that there isnt because they havent found the condictions needed to live on other planets but theother life may need different condictions to live and also the universe is so big that i dont think we are alone in it

I can understand both sides of the life on other planets thingy, but iunno... it's just sort of hard to imagine other planets besides Earth having advanced forms of life. but on the other hand, all you need for life to emerge is water, and if a planet has water then it could have life, or have life in the future...

but they can't come from acid because any amino acids that were in it would just burn right up and not have a chance to come together to form a protien which is needed for life to occour.

I forget who, but someone did an experiment trying to create life, but only successfully made small amino acid chains, which really ammounted to nothing... And the water life first sprung out of was slightly acidic. You never know what something will be based off of.

As for other life... You never know what God's side projects are :P In fact, the first chapter of Daniel (I believe) has been used as proof aliens have visited Earth during biblical times.

I had to vote for being unsure, as I really have no clue!

my science teacher said that scientists have successfully created life with just water... maybe he's lying... and you can't use the Bible as proof of aliens visiting earth because no one can really say that the bible is 100% correct. afterall it says that it rained straight for 5 days and 5 nights (either that or 40 days & 40 nights...) and it flooded the entire earth... but even at 40 full days of the heaviest raining couldnt flood the earth. and rain at it's heaviest would cause there to be so much water dissolved into the air that people would drown taking a breath....

Well, scientists have found proof of a massive flood of the major populated area of the earth which could have killed off most people alive. It occured around the black sea. God's power can defy conventional wisdom!

As for the Daniel reference, I was just putting forth a religous perspective on it all :)

No-one knows what life should be made from. It's silly to say what something should be made of! In the Roman times they would have said it is impossible to fly, now look at us!

Life can emerge from anything, a planet might have no air or water yet life may still exist.

Yeah, you do see those deep sea tube worms that survive off of only toxic chemicals. I guess you could have some plants and animals that survive harsh climates on other planets.

THere HAS to be life out there...
Just think, every single star in the sky is a solar system, just like our. Some have less planets than ours, some have more. They say that every star we see is a sun that burnt out millions of years ago, but the light is jsut reaching earth. THat may be true, but imagine how many galaxies there are that we can't see! Whether through a scientific or religious person, it never says in the Bible that we were the only ones God created
