If you were to not have a dad and you were a boy, would you tell your mom you were going thru puberty?
or
If you were to not have a mom and you were a girl, would you tell your dad you were going thru puberty?

(Brothers and Sisters don't count)

Cause I am having this problem, my dad passed when I was like 7.

Absolutely not. There is no reason to tell your mom. There's nothing she could do to help you. Everything happens automatically. She'll know anyway. I doubt if you'd be very comfortable discussing it with her. If you have any questions you can get them answered on the internet or in sex ed, or just talk it over with your friends.

I talk with my mom anyways. Never directly said I was going through puberty but we talk about sex and stuff like that. (She's like a walking sex ed. lesson for me)

I'm really sorry about the passing of your dad. You must miss him a lot, esp. now at puberty.

The answer to your question is that if I needed reassurance or info, I would ask whichever parent I felt closest to, or more comfortable with, regardless of gender. In your case, that's your mom, and although she's a girl, she's also an adult, she she could provide whatever info or support you probably need. If you'd feel better with a guy, maybe an uncle or grandfather?

I didn't tell anyone I was going through puberty. It's pretty obviois, so no matter if you tell anyone, they will still notice.

I'm so sorry you're dad passed away. It must be really hard when you want to talk to a male older then you.

All mums know that through a boy/girls' teenager years they go through puberty, so there really is no point in sharing. A mum/dad will realise most with a girl when they start growing breasts, getting hormonal and maybe seeing discharge in there underwear. A mum/dad will start knowing with the boys if the boy has a wet dream, cum in their underpants, voices getting deeper, ect. So never fear! I'm sure you're mum knows :)

If you do want to talk to someone, have a search around for active members on the forum to see how old they are/if they are male or not. They might help.

Im sorry about your dad, but why would you feel the need to tell someone? Do you feel like there is some obligation that you must say you are going through puberty...?

I would not tell my mom, and she probally will assume that you are going to go through puberty some time around now
