Yep, sounds like it to me. I suffer from it but for me its different things likea a paranoid fear of blindness *rubs eyes* and if there is the tinies thing wrong with a computer monitor / TV Screen I just cant use it.

I know this will sound stupid but go and see you GP and get a refferal to a shrink.

you only have ocd if you think you have ocd. Its a subconcious desire in your mind. Ocd is an easily treatable and curable personality disorder. its based on habits and breaking those habits. its not a messed up brain, thats why its just bad habits. You can fix it if you want to fix it. But if you like it, then it will never go away.

its all based on having some sort of control. and although it sounds easy to break... its really not beause the anxiety you feel is soooo insanely strong. there are only a few ways to break it... seeing an ocd specialist or meds... and meds typically wont eliminate it all. its all about knowing that you dont have control over everything but what you do have control over is the ocd. i take baby steps with mine because im not ready to face the fears so much which is what most ocd specialists will have you do... facing the fears head on. if you dont get help with it you will probably end up dealing with it your entire life which i know isnt something that anyone would want to do.

It does appear to be that you might be suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder or something on that spectrum, but only a professional qualified mental health practicioner can give you a honest correct opinion.

These voices in your head, do you hear them - as if you would hear another person talking to you like sound - rather than the internal monologue we all have which is more of a 'thinking' sound than a 'hearing' sound.

If you're 'hearing' it, and it seems as if its like a voice of someone in the room - it definatly would be a very very good idea for you to see a doctor as soon as you can as that would indicate the possibility of a psychotic disorder such as bipolar mania or schizophrenia.
