Best fps game ever

i was wandering what u think is the best fps (first person shooter) game ever?
i'm stuck between quake 64, goldeneye 64 and james bond night fire...

Well personally i like scifi so i would have to say hl2 and all accompanying mods (actually tfc for life is what i like it for haha) then battlefield 2 ;) . . .

Actually, yeah. I've loved that game and it's still a blast to play, even today! :D

For PC- Counter Strike Source
N64- Probably Goldeneye

I like CS: Source the most. I tried HL, HL2, Fear (Demo), Doom 3, Far Cry, Postal 2, etc and I got bored with all of them in literally 2-3 minutes, except postal 2, which i played for a few days before getting bored with it.

I've played CSS for a few months now and haven't been bored with it yet. I can't stand playing against the computer, it has to be online in a multiplayer setting.

If you get Half-Life 2, you can technically download Goldeneye, so you don't have to worry about that...

That and its multiplayer, with all of the mods now out (if you're willing to pay a little extension fee for a few, most are free)
