Well, previously I have never really tried that much to masturbate. I am a Christian, and originally I thought it was wrong. I talked to my dad and othe adult guys about it, and they said it is fine, all natural. So I was like ok, I have sort of masturbated before, but never enough to do much. I still didn't feel comfortable doing it.

So I have been having wet dreams for a little over a year now. I have decided I am tired of them. I am gonna get serious with the masturbation(wow that sounds weird) I tried doing it in the shower earlier and I got really close to orgasm, but it was really sore. And hurt to the touch.

So I figured I'd use lube, but I don't know what to use. I don't feel comfortable goinng out and buying some, so I am asking for stuff that you commonly find in your house.

Shampoo
NEVER USE SOAP
Body Wash works too.
Veggie Oil
Vaseline
Lotion

Vaseline is a common one. Your penis will get sore after masturbation the first few times, mine did too. It will stop after masturbating a few more times, and I'm not sure if lube will help. However, some prefer to use lube anyway.

AXe, in england is calld Lynx. yeah itll work but once when i was washing myself iwth this brand it went down the penis and it hurt like hell. i was pissing bits of red shower gel for aweek. so not recomended ;)

Vaseline works well, although it is very messy afterwards. It's also waterproof to an extent so its tough gettin it off, if your planning on just having a shower.

You could also use your own saliva from your mouth, although it dries up quick and some people dont like the idea of that.

Those are the only lubes ive used in my life, so thats all i've got to input.

im not telling you to watch porn, but usually you can ejaculate faster while watching porn. Therefore you would not need to masturbate your penis as long and you should not get sore

In my opinion the best one to use that no one will really notice missing is olive oil.The reason I say that is because its natural and it wont irratate you and once some one notices its low they buy and new one and dont think about it. Also one thats good to is spit. its not as smooth and slippery as olive oil but it does the trick to.

I haven't tried many varieties of lubes.. I hear all of you saying not to use soap ( I'm 18, maybe age can affect that)I have no problem with it but I do agree that soft handsoap works well. As for shampoo, it dries out the skin and can cause redness and irritation (not recommended). Vaseline is pretty messy and hard to clean up, yeah spit works very well. Hand lotion works well but if your mom or your sister says "that smells like my lotion.. who used it and why?!" I recommend trying to keep masturbation as secretive as possible.

Don't know if this is normal, but I use hair wax - dont use hair jel - dries in! - it seems to come off ok and I either use spit, moisturiser or hair wax!! - DO NOT USE SOAP penis stings ALOT afterwards!

Well if I'm in the shower, I use the shower stream itself as lube. I also use shower gel as lube, but from reading you guys' experiences with it, I'll stop using it ... but for some reason shower gel or soap never stings mine.

But if it's not in the shower, I never use lube. I never really need lube, and at least for me, it is unnecessary. I just wait several days (mainly a week), then everything is much less sweaty, and can be done without any effort.

But, judging from your sayings, you seem to have waited forever in between sessions, and yet you were not satisfied with the end result. But, I do not know of any household items which could be used as lube.

Maybe you can try what I do? I don't really know, I'm just trying to give my opinion on this.

If you're in the shower a soapy hand can be pretty good. Most of the soap gets washed away anyway. It depends partly what you're doing. For anal stim any soap is likely to sting, but even then some soaps are stronger than others.

Generally, my impression is that cut guys feel the need for lube more than uncut and therefore its more common to use lube if you're in the us or canada. But as an uncut european let me tell you that proper lube feels bloody good.

So, yes its not necessary, but it does add a little something and i would recommend every guy to at least give it a try.

i just used "real" bottled lube in the shower, and i couldn't get the job done.. i think it was because i wasn't really aroused.
But i used Lynx shower gel lol and it has little beads in it, and they might of got done my penis but im not sure because it was too soapy, but i doubt i use that again from what you guys have been saying.
the other thing i have been using is
Alo-Vera gel or whatever it's cool for sunburns or something so it's been alright.
well that's just what i have done, and i haven't used spit yet i might use that next time.
