Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but, why do people cut them selves?. is this like a way of releasing anger? also why is the wrist such a well popular place to cut,

1. search function.. Or rather, it varies between person
2. For some.. sometimes for me
3. I have NO idea actually. I don't cut my wrists. I guess it's because your arm is an easy area to get at... actually i'm thinking a little more and.. wrist is a sterotype.

Cutting releases something in the brain, can't remember what they're called, but basically it gives the feeling of being relaxed.

Everyone copes differently though we all basically feel the same. Some overeat, some cut, some pray, some burn, some talk, it's just another method, tho admittedly a destrcutive one.

The wrist, well maybe because we hope we'll slip while we're in that place.

The wrist really isnt that much of a stereotype, at least not from I see.

First of all I'll tell you why I do it. When you hold in too much anger, hate, and other bad emotions, you want to let them out. A lot of people can handle there emotions, but I can't.
