Yeah, it's Easter. And I'm sitting here about getting a new family.
I really am so annoyed by every single person in my family. This morning, Mom decided to make a nice Easter breakfast, which was awesome. We couldn't even get through a half an hour breakfast without fighting. I got my report card on Thursday, but I just haven't showed it to Mom and Dad yet. No reason, it's a good report card, I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Mom mentioned it, and I told her my grades. My Earth Science grade was a bit lower than what I hoped it to be, and Mom and Dad know that that class gives me problems and that I hate getting lower grades than what I'm used to. And of course, Forrest had to make some smart ass remark about me being stupid, and can't get good grades. I wanted to slap him. He knows I'm a perfectionist and I need to get grades to my liking.
So for the rest of breakfast I sat there eating my fruit salad quietly. Then my mom told us to open our cards, she gave us each money this year instead of a small gift. And I told her that I didn't need this money, I had borrowed some from her when I got my shoes the other day that I didn't have any cash and it would be fine just to not give me money today. And of course, that had to be a big problem. Something about me not being grateful, or not accepting. I don't know.
Then Jamie decided to mention my shoes. She often wears my shoes, which would be fine except for the fact that her feet are half a size bigger, and she has wide feet, and I have narrow feet. She wanted to borrow my new shoes tomorrow, and I said no, because a.) they were new and b.) her feet make them not fit me anymore. Then she had to get all defensive and bitchy about the fact that I won't ever let her borrow anything. Wow, great way for the morning to start.
During most of this, Dad was sitting on his laptop at the kitchen table, talking on his phone. Wow, GREAT Easter breakfast Dad.
Alex was fine. Well, he just ate in about 3 minutes and got up and left. Good job.
It's....11:33 AM and there have already been: 2 plates dropped and broken, two fights between my parents and numerous cusses under my breath. Not to mention the urge to slap Forrest. Currently he's squeaking a dog toy so loud I want to rip it out of his hands and throw it out the window. Oh wait, it gets better. Alex has been playing Rock Band since 7:30 this morning.
