Spanky, you're hardly crazy.
It's typical that the things we feel anxious about (bugs in your case), we're hypervigiliant towards, we look out for them, unconsciously. It's a self protective/survival mechanism that's wired into us. So, if you're worried about bugs, if they creep you out and you feel threatened by them, it's natural that you'd mistake *other* things for them, it's your brains way of keeping you safe. The brain works under the principle of "it's better to be safe than sorry".

Thanks sam, you always do a good job of reassuring me. But like it sometimes happens and sometimes not and when it does like i sometimes leave the room, also when the "bug" thing is happening i feel like someones watching me and i always have too turn around and look but i know no ones there.

Spanky, it's wired into us to be self protective. Anxiety and worry, 'Paranoia' as you call it, are the brain's way of alerting us to potential danger so we can take precautions.
You seem to realize that your fears are a bit unreasonable, so eventhough your brain is sending you the 911, you can still override it by logically telling yourself that it's all OK and that nothing bad will happen. By reassuring yourself in these situations, you can give yourself the reality check and comfort you need to turn off the anxiety, just like I do! Although I'd miss that....
