Last night's result annoyed the hell out of me.

To me one performance stood out head and shoulders above the others in terms of talent and that was Callum.

The sax guy, look I'm a musician and he's like a sick joke. He's playing pieces of about grade 3 standard I should think. Its an insult to musicians everywhere to treat him as talented if he cant play anything a bit more challenging than that.

And 2 grand were OK, but nothing more. Its supposed to be a talent show, people should win because they're talented, not for sentimental reasons. And as for Simon more of less saying he'll give them his casting vote because the old man might be dead by next year. Urg.

It has to be the same rules for everyone otherwise its just not a level playing field. If you come out and screw up thats it, chance gone. If one of the adults had done that they'd be out.Hollie did not deserve to go throught. Poor performance, horribly out of tune. It was obvious, and completely unfair, that if Hollie ended up in the play off she would go through because none of the judges would want to be seen to cause her to break down in tears again. What a farce.

On the good side I cant see the frankly poor Susan Boyle winning.

Yeah, I get what you mean. I was watching him play that music and thinking that couldn't be more than say Grade 4. There are heaps of kids that can play better than that just in my school, its hardly anything special really.

Thats my point exactly. I recon about grade 3. Its an instrument that makes a nice sound. If a violinist came on and played something slow and boring like that they'd be booed of the stage.

Well, I applied twice. The first was a "I'll be so crap I'll go through thing" with opera singing while burlesque dancing and fire juggling. The other was going to be a Rocky Horror Tribute.

I've not gotten a reply yet, but after my Halloween costume, last year, I'm sure I'd get through the auditions! Also, Joe is my assistant :) Oh! And my first choice of place to audition is Manchester, second is London. Just so I can visit some cool peoples ;)
