My friends and I are always comparing our penis length and I always have a really small number like 4 inches and they always come up with these really big numbers like nine inches ( and this always makes me feal self conscious) what I was wondering was how are you supposed to measure your penis? From head to anus, head to top of balls, or from head to bad where penis meets with your stomach?

Okay, you measure from the tip of your penis to the base (where the penis starts) no where else. If one of your friends who says he is 9 inches is measuring from his anus, he's probably actually got 3in :lol:

Yeah, I doubt that they're 9 in. There's probably only a few hundred guys with that in the entire world, so all your friends aren't 9in. Now, maybe 1 is, but yeah most guys just say 9in to sound mocho.

9inches is unliklly but possible. my mate has a 6inch @ 16 and my other mate is around 8.5 @ 15 :)

well there is a very small chance that they are really that big. They probally have big egos and like to think they are big because they are really insecure with their real size.

And for a 15 y/o, 4 inches is normal and you have nothing to worry about with it, (and i have a friend who is 4 inches, and he is 12 days younger than me... so size varies.)

But to measure your penis, you go from the base of your penis to the head of your penis, when you have an erection.

Most likely you're right, they're wrong. I've never met a teenager with a 9 in. penis.

some people say to measure from the top of the penis, some say from the side and some say from the bottom in front of your balls. i don't know which one is right, but when I measure from the side that's where i get the biggest measurement so that's where i measure from! haha

Like everyone else has said, those guys claiming 9" are just dreaming.

I've looked his up on the internet before and my understanding is that the "official" way of measuring is to lay a flat ruler (not a tape measure) along the top of your erect penis (not underneath) pressing the end of the ruler up against your skin at the pubes end of things and reading off on the ruler where the tip lines up.
