My Audio Driver has disappeared. Totally and completely. So, I had my dad try and fix it but it still doesn't show! He went to guru3d.com and d/l it and we set it up on my computer but still nothing. I even installed it many many times. The only way I can have sound is if I use my usb head phones, but their broken!!!!! (meaning that they work if you put the cord in the perfect spot (that changes!) but otherwise they are a piece of crap.) Any ideas on how I can fix my audio driver?? I use windows vista 64 bit on my comp.

What sound card do you have? Is it built in to the mother board?
