Tiesto is not techno, Basshunter is not techno and no idea who the other guy is, so I am sure it's fine to just lump Daft Punk in to the techno genre along with the rest.

I'd vote Carl Cox as the best in terms of Techno and I am not a techno fan.

You're right, they're not techno, they're EDM which is techno, trance, spinnet anything that Electronic Dance Music.
