Is this fiction? Is this nonfiction? It doesn't really matter.
Facts are just opinions metaphorically solidified in stone. What I say is what I think. It isn't anything more; its just what you make of it. If its true in your eyes, its true, if its false, its false. I don't really care, I just feel the need to get this out there.
You see, our world isn't the greatest place, its far from it to be honest. I mean, you hear about grand theft, adultery, rape, and even murder every day. And then there are things that are even worse, like torture camps and genocide. I mean, what has our world become is probably what you're thinking to yourself, right? But in all honesty, have we really gone that far from where we stood twenty years ago? Fifty years ago? One hundred? Etc. I mean, its just human nature.
Some people are born killers. Some are born with a hunger to rape and torture. Others are born hungry for power, and are willing to do anything for it. Some people aren't born that way, but once they get the taste of power, they hunger for more and more. We all hunger for something. Maybe we haven't discovered what that something is yet; but we all hunger for something. Its just how we are. (I mean, I'm hungry for a taco right now, you see?)
And yeah, in connection with the criminality/illegality of the things I mentioned before I guess I'll mention my thoughts of the United States justice system. Is it flawed? No shit its flawed. But I mean, people are "innocent until proven guilty?" What the fuck does that mean? No one is innocent in our world today. Innocent just isn't the right word there. I get what they're trying to portray, but we all lost our innocence awhile back. The only way someone innocent could be brought to trial would be if a newborn born into a PERFECT family was charged with a crime. And where would his or her innocence go the second the charges were brought up? Exactly.
Anyone who embraces life and just lives to live; amen to that. I mean, the world sucks, yeah, but we were put on this planet for some reason. Whether you're religious or not, pragmatism and logic suggest that we're not here to die. We're here to make an impact of some sort. Be it good or bad, we're here to do things. We're here to build empires, we're here to copulate, we're here to dance, we're here to be bored. We're here, because we're here. And we might as well take advantage of the situation we're in.
Since most of you who read this aren't bound to be killers or greedy bastards I suggest you enjoy life for the sake of living and that you take advantage of the situation you're in, as I mentioned before. Even if you're manic depressive or bipolar or OCD or anti-social, or MPD, etc... It doesn't matter. So what if you see the world differently? So what if you want to die? So what if you can't make friends? You can still make an impact. And hell, with the shit we have today just popping some pills will make you see things more clearly.
I mean, there is hope in our society. Are we fucked? Yeah. But who doesn't want to get fucked? Even those people who preach abstinence are dying to "get some." But yeah, there is this thing called hope. And we should embrace it with open arms. Anyone can do anything. Anything is possible. So cliche I know, but so true. Just try your hardest, and even if you fail, you will have succeeded.
People who say to set goals are dumbasses. There's a ninety percent chance you'll fail and just get upset and stressed out. Instead of setting goals, just let life come to you and do as you please. That's not to say you shouldn't challenge yourself; its just to say that if you don't enjoy anything about your life, you should change your lifestyle. If you strive to get that A+, but attempting to get that A+ and even succeeding in getting that A+ doesn't bring you happiness, then tone down the studying. Settle with an A- or even a B+ and spend more time doing something you enjoy. Who cares if its productive or not?
Write music, listen to music, write stories, preach to the world like I'm doing now! Play video games, play sports, play games on the computer, post on a forum, dance with the lights off, dance with the lights on, create a perfect fantasy world, talk to that guy or girl you've always wanted to talk to! Do something significant! Do something that will have a positive impact on someone else's life! Sacrifice something dear to you for the sake of someone else! It will make you feel good!
The world is a dark place until you make it bright. So make it bright by putting a smile on someone else's face, or at least your own face. Please yourself by pleasing others. Or please yourself by pleasing yourself. Just don't give up. Giving up is stupid. Seriously. Strive to succeed, but don't stress out, and life will go by quick and easy. And you'll have had some fun too. ;)
