I'm in my aunts house on my own. I used one of her knives to make a cut on my forearm and, because her knives are alot sharper than the ones I have at home, the cut is really deep and wont stop bleeding.
Its not bleeding a huge amount and it doesnt hurt, I'm just freaking out because it's like, gaping open and I really dont want it to get infected or have to go to the emergency room.
Is there something I can do to close the wound and make it stop bleeding. I'm really freaking out will someone help me?

Put pressure on it ASAP DO NOT LIFT THE TISSUE/TOWEL!!
Then when the bleeding slows put some gawz on it!
if you dont have any cut up a old thin towel and wrap that around it
then when the bleeding stops go to the hospital and get stiches if it is a deep as i think it is

Do not panic

Just make sure it isnt too deep that it will be able to heal without stiches

It's deep and won't stop bleeding, but isn't bleeding "that much"

HOw bad is this bleeding?
and if it's 'open'.. that might need stiches. people don't 'heal' properly if the thing is split apart liek that

well its mostly stopped bleeding now so, obviously I freaked for no reason.
but it still wont 'meld'.
it'll be cool though. thanks anyway

Then.. that's not freaking out for no reason. even if its stopped bleeding, that's .. not good.

It being open could lead to alot worse stuff then it bleeding, to be honest.

Call your mom, aunt, 911, whatever.
You need to get to a hospital to get fixed up.
Plus, it serves as a chance to let your family know what's going on, so you can get helped. Right?
They can help you stop cutting, and feel better.
