Ok, so I am a 13yo Christian Teen, and I like to Masturbate.....I am just wandering if it is wrong in a religious sense......Please I Need HELP!

I do i about once every day..i find it hard to do it more..I also watch porn, and I just need to know if its wrong....I know the porn part is, i just dont know about the j/o part

You have to decide whether you are going to follow every single things that the church says or are you just gonna select which parts your going to listen to. It's your choice. It depends on how devoted you are to your faith.

I however, wouldn't think any god would condemn more than 90% of the male population for a private, pleasurable matter. Plus, it's better than having premarital sex in Christianity, right? So why not relieve the tension?

personally, I don't think religion or anything else should come in the way of human impulses. What The church tells you isn't what u have to follow--instead u shud be individualistic. Porn and masturbation are typical of teens, so it's perfectly fine to do it.

christians disagree on whether masturbation is good or bad. if ur a christian then porn is definitely wrong. i kno some say that u should never masturbate but others say that as long as it doesn't rule your life then masturbating once in a while is ok.

Well technically it is because God says not to commit adultery, which can mean masturbation... But God also loves you no matter the circumstances. 95% of men masturbate; the other 5% lie about it. I wouldn't worry.

This question comes up a lot, and it's hard to answer. Everyone has to decide for themselves what's Ok.

However, you might want to keep a few things in mind. First everyone masturbates, it's a universal activity. Second, the drive, that urge, is caused by biology, it's a natural thing that is impossible to control, it's like blinking or sweating. Lastly, what makes you a 'Good' person is measured by what's in your heart, and what your actions are with respect to other living things. It's how you live yor life, how you treat others. Most people have an incomplete understanding of Faith and religion, focusing only on the restrcitions. Religion (and God) are much more complex than that, if you study religion and talk with people of true Faith (not the blowhards who preach about it in purely ideological terms), you'll get a far more balanced, and very sympathetic view not only of religion in general, but masturbation specifically.

You have a very strange definition of adultery. Adultery is sex where at least one of the 2 people involved is married to someone else. Its impossible to commit adultery on your own.

No, adultery within the church is only when you are, (or have previsously been, with divorce not annulment) married. It is definatley NOT adultery if your a teenage boy! :P

Some would say that because it is sexual pleasure it is actually pre-marrital sex. However, because it's done to yourself this is a hard boundary to place.

I'm catholic, i do it, so do most of my friends and most of us go to church. God hasn't made a bus hit any of us yet, so i guess he's OK with it.
