So I kind of want to start sleeping shirtless, but I'm worried that if I do, I'll get horny and masterbate. I HATE masterbating, but it's an addiction I can't stop. What can I do? Sleep shirtless and end up feeling like trash, or wear a shirt and feel like a child? I realize that sounds ridiculous, but this is a serious question.

Why does wearing a shirt make you feel like a child? I think most people still sleep with a shirt on than not, to be honest. Just try without a shirt a few nights and see, I guess.

I prefer with a shirt. It feels better on my skin.
Anyways, it's completely up to you. The way you sleep doesn't determine how mature you are.
Also, if you have a good will power (which you probably have, since you don't masturbate) then sleeping shirtless shouldn't cave your will.

Firstly, masturbating is not an evil in itself, and with your being in puberty with your hormones being in overdrive the reality is that masturbating is a fact of life for you. My suggestion is that before going to sleep masturbate to get the horniness (out of lack of a better word) out of your system so that you will not have the energy to masturbate when you are sleeping shirtless.
Secondly, it is definitely not juvenile to sleep with a shirt on, and many guys sleep with a shirt. Especially in colder climates sleep with a shirt provides additional warmth which is a must in a house with drafty windows or which is pretty cold. Basically, wearing a shirt is fine, and it is basically a personal preference as to whether or not you want to wear one. There is no question that all of us want to fit in and be like the others, especially if your friends/family sleep shirtless, but the reality is that you need to do what is best for you as no one else is going to see you while you are sleeping.
Finally, as for sleeping shirtless, I agree with the others that you just have to exercise self control and break the correlation between being shirtless and masturbating. As mentioned earlier, just masturbate before going to bed, and that should solve your problem right there. Also, if you exercise before bed and tire yourself out, then that can accomplish two things in that you get to be active and also make yourself too tired to masturbate.

For me it depends on the weather, if it's a cold night then I wear a shirt, if it's a warm night then I can easily sleep shirtless.
It's completely normal to sleep with a shirt on, just because you are that much older does not mean you have to be naked on your top half, more guys will sleep with a shirt than not, simply too either keep warm or because it feels better.
Masturbating is normal, so don't feel bad for doing it. If you are worried about masturbating at night because you will be shirtless, masturbate before you go to bed to lower your sex drive, this reduces the likeliness of getting the urge.

Hey dude, you just gotta do what feels best for you. But sleeping with or without a shirt has nothing to do with being mature or anything. My dad always slept with a shirt on. Personally unless it is really cold I prefer going without one
