In my country we don't get to choose our own classes...Anyways, here they are:

Maths (5 classes a week - both algebra and geometry)
Romanian (5 classes a week - both literature and grammar)
English (2 classes a week)
French (2 classes a week)
Physics (2 classes a week)
Chemistry (2 classes)
Biology (1 or 2 classes...I'm not really sure)
Geography (1 or 2 classes)
History (1 or 2 classes)
Something like Social studies (1 class)
PE (1 or 2 classes)
Music (1 class)
Technological Education (1 class)

When I said 1 or 2 classes per week, I mean that the schedule is going to be very different this year because there's the "National Evaluation" in June and that's going to decide which high school we go to. Normally, for Romanian and maths we would have 4 classes per week, but since they're part of the exam we have one of them assigned to the "Optional" class and the other is going to take place instead of PE.

Regarding Geography and History, this year we're going to have them tested each semester, so I would assume we're going to have two classes each week.
About Biology...two years ago we had one per week, last year we had two per week, I don't know how it's going to be this year.

In high school our classes are going to be decided by our profile (Maths-IT, Sciences of Nature etc.).

Yep. If you complete it, you get a deduction from your car insurance. You can also complete the test with the instructors for your license without having to test at the DMV and the instructors are much less picky.

Where I live, you have no other choice but to pay about 1300 - 1800 € for getting a license.

Nah not a pathologist but maybe a medical doc. Besides as a pathologist don't you need a basic medical degree first? I have seen some patho slides and they can be pretty hard to interpret. Its almost like looking at abstract art under the microscope.

Thats histopathology, i want to do that :D keep in mind i dont live in us/uk so this is somehow how it goes: first u go to a high school, medically oriented.. then u apply for college (basic stuff) and there are dentist and doctors.. u study for about 6 years, so college, do the "atestations" and get a degree.. i think thats how it works. And yea, purple, red and pink slides :D i always wondered, i showed my dad one slide which claimed to be a tumir, in 1 look he said it was i think tuberculosis.. wow :D

Oh ok makes sense now since I am mostly familiar with UK and US system. Is this the Czech system by any chance? There r so many new fancy branches of patho now apart from the traditional ones. Its the extent of memory work needed that makes patho hard I heard. There r like hundreds of stains apart frm the usual h&e stains. Isnt the acid fast stain used for tb anyways? How is ur dad so sure that its tb and not a tumor?

Social Studies is what they call "history class" here in the U.S.

It's called that because it often fuses history with geography (which were separate classes in the olden days).

Social studies also includes politics and civics.

Yeah, it was in social studies class that we had our mock election.

Here we also have a class called "Government" (which I do think is called "Civics" in some places). It's required, along with a class on Economics.

Do you have each of those classes everyday, or is it like college, different classes on different days?
For how many hours a day are you in school?

Classes are scheduled randomly on different days, and I have about 4 classes a day, 90 minutes per class. So I'm in school from about 8 AM to 4 PM.

Is there a break during 90 minutes, or is it 90 minutes of lecture, in lecture-type classes?

Is there a break during 90 minutes, or is it 90 minutes of lecture, in lecture-type classes? We have the 1st class, then 20 minutes break. Second class, then 30 minutes break (lunch). Third class then 10 minutes break and fourth class after that. We don't have any breaks during class, or maybe a few minutes, depending on the teacher.

Just got back to school and now im in 11th grade. Basically it's the start of senior high school where we're preparing for what we wanna do after high school

ATAR English
ATAR Geography
ATAR Math Applications (Mixed of Stats/Prob, Geometry/Trig, Algebra 2; The easiest of all the academic-level math subjects we have, other being Methods and Specialist Maths)
ATAR Physics
ATAR Earth and Environmental Science
Certificate II Business
Directed Study

ATAR is basically the academic/university-bound pathway for high school students here in Australia. It's also used to determine our scores and which university we could apply to.
