Ok so if you read my other thread about the girl I like, great. Anyway, I saw the girl today at a movie (not just me and her, but with other friends) and I think she does like me. She thinks Im funny and she seemed to enjoy looking at me throughout the movie.
Anyway, easter long weekend this coming weekend, and I can't see her for 4-5 days, but I like her a lot, and want to ask her on a date. My plan is, on friday night to send her a txt saying I have something important to talk to her about, does she have time to speak with me. When she says yes, I will call her up and tell her I like her a lot and that I'd like her to come on a date with me.
Does this sound like a decent idea? I believe I have a fair chance, and I really like her.
P.S: Any ideas on a first date? I was thinking movie and dinner (I will pay of course, but then again the movie means we dont really talk with each other). Any input here would be great! Thanks alot!

Yeah that sounds like a good plan. If it all goes well and she says yes (which she will) then the movie thing sounds great. And dinner, well I'm not a girl, would it seem to forward on a first date?
IDK, maybe not but it seems a good plan.
Good luck!

How do I know? Because you need to think positive thoughts about this kind of thing.
Anyway, good luck, even though you won't need it. :)
lol
Oh but don't be too disapointed if it goes the other way....be strong, women like strong men.

If she said no, how should I react? Like if she says Yes, I will see something like "Great, what about a movie? What night are you free?" but if she says no, what should I say?
Thanks aloit!

I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not..but anyway
If she says no, be cool with it and say something like "oh okay" then follow it up with the classic "we can still be friends right?"
then you'll probably feel a bit sad, so go home and write a song. :)
But that won't happen.

Okay, if she says no, I will ask to just be friends. Ok thanks alot Requin.
I wasnt being sarcastic btw. And I tried +rep, but it seems I must spread rep around more first! I will +rep you as soon as I can. Thanks alot.

movies could work. but if you just want to take her out somewhere where you can talk and stuff, just ask her out for coffee or hot chocolate or something like that. go to a gloria jeans or something. that is less formal. or if you want, you could do both. my advice would be to leave the dinner for maybe a second date. good luck with it mate. i hope it all goes well and she says yes to you.

Thankyou for the support! Yeah, I think I have a fair chance =). Gloria jeans sounds alright, maybe both, thanks for the tips.
