Hard Drive Crash!!! serious help needed!!!

My hard drive crashed, I have all my homework on it--not printed, due tomorrow. Is there any way i can get it back??? Please tell me I didn't lose everything, I had so much on that friggin thing. It was a brand new dell, just a few months old, and It died. WHY???:eek::confused::(:mad:

for 1.Is it plugged in? if it is and not working, look for a hardrive recovery thinger..google Hard drive recovery, if that doesn't work, uhh ur outta luck, too the extent of my knowledge.

Crashed how? give me an error message or what actually happened and I will be able to tell you whether your homework is toast or not. More than likely its not but it really depends on what happened.

Sometimes computers back up their hard-drives periodically, so you might be okay.
Otherwise, i really can't help ya!

Put it in a water-tight plastic bag, place in the freezer for 24 hours. Plug it back in, if it works save everything you can very quickly.

Worked for me many many times over the years.

They sent me a new one for free, BUT I still need the info on the old one!
