I can tell you when waking up in the morning and you have a hard on this indicates your body is OK as far as the functionality of the penis goes. this does not always happen to everyone so DO NOT WORRY! this is a 80% normality, if you are one of the 20%, no worries. some people never have one, others do. also random erections, if you get these its the same as morning wood but during the day. this also indicates functionality is ok, but not in all people as previously said.
WHY do i get Morning erections?
Good question. People belive alot of things, some think it is because you need to urinate really bad, others say it is due to Sub-concious dreams while in the REM states, dreaming of sexual things or turn ons, others say that it is the change in heart rates while sleeping, this can pump the blood faster and can open up the gates to your penis, equalling that it shall be hard due to the surge of blood.
Testicles
You can also check to see if you're testicals are in perfect shape aswell, while inthe bath, let half of the testi in the water and theo ther half out, roll through you're fingers looking for lumps and bumps on the testical. if you find a little bulge on the top of a testi, no worries becasue this is USUALLY just the tubes of where sperm is stored.
to see if the testi's react to heat correctly, next time its cold, you're testicales SHOULD shrivvle up / become tight and close to the body, this is to remain them warm. and in the heat they will 'drop' this is for them to either A) cool down or B) keep at optimum temp.

A ) These are usually hair folicles and will grow hair / pubes out of later in puberty but if they are getting bigger or becoming sore and no hair is growing, see a GP asap.

A ) Well you may not be developed enough but if you are feeling the near end of puberty (growth, penis large (avvg size 6") pubes and so on,) you may want to see a doctor for a checkup on you're development.
Q ) I have found a lump in my testicles!
A ) ok the first thing to do it to calm down. this is likely NOT to be cancer. you dont usually get Testicular cancer during adolsence (Puberty) but could be a chance still. check again, if this 'lump' is at the top part of the ball sack, this can usually just be a pipe where semen is stored. there is one on the top of each ball. If in doubt, see a doctor.

A ) Ok, if you have never had one of the following there is little chance of having a STD / STI
A) Sexual intercourse
B) Sexual Contact (eg, getting you're penis close to the woman naked)

A ) Ahh, easy one. the test contains 3 things, some times only one or 2 are used but often the common one is getting a cotton bud down the shaft of your penis to reach the Uretha (I think thats it) which is then taken a swab and is analysed. another method is a urine sample, differnt STI / STD needs differnet tests to determine. the third and final common way is a blood test.

A ) All are differnt and must be discussed with a doctor to determine which method is best. some std's such as herpes cannot be removed but only controlled. this is the same viral as the Cold Sore Virus.
